LBMA Silver Market Price Seminar

The LBMA has organised a Silver Price Seminar on 20th June, 2014 at Merchant Taylors’, 30 Threadneedle Street, EC2R 8JB. This is a free Members only Event. The LBMA have received ten Requests for Proposals from companies interested in developing and administering an appropriate silver price mechanism with effect from 15 August. A short list will be compiled and the seminar will provide the opportunity for Members to consider presentations from those on the shortlist. The LBMA’s Silver Price Consultation survey has now closed. In total, there were more than 440 participants who completed the survey. The general consensus was that the silver pricing mechanism should be an electronic, auction - based solution. The solution must be tradeable, with an increased number of direct participants.
