Introductory training module, developed by the Responsible Minerals Initiative (RMI), LBMA and Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC), focussed on the
OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals from Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas.
The brief module introduces the OECD Guidance, including practical approaches to implementing the 5-Step Framework to mineral supply chain due
diligence. It outlines the purpose of due diligence, describes each of the five steps, and identifies the relevant tools and programmes offered
by the LBMA, RMI, and RJC, that companies can utilise to support their responsible sourcing efforts. It is recommended for any entity linked
to the minerals trade, from mine, to end user, as well as to auditors, auditees, governments, civil society and other key stakeholders.
The training module is also available in an interactive LMS format, with questions embedded in the video and a set of multiple choice questions at the
end to test audience understanding of the subject. The module is available on the RMI’s eLearning Academy
The RMI eLearning Academy is free and open to all. Please email RMILearning@responsiblebusiness.org
