David Gornall re-elected LBMA Chairman

At the twenty-fourth Annual General Meeting on 20th June 2012, David Gornall of Natixis London Branch was re-elected as the Chairman of the LBMA.
David has been a Member of the Management Committee since 2005. Currently Head of Precious Metals at Natixis London Branch, he has traded on the bullion market since 1979.
Steven Lowe, of Bank of Nova Scotia-ScotiaMocatta, was re-elected LBMA Vice-Chairman.
The following representatives were re-elected to the Committee:

Simon Churchill, Brinks Ltd
Jeremy East, Standard Chartered Bank
The following representatives were elected to replace Jeremy Charles, HSBC Bank USA NA and Clive Turner, JP Morgan Chase Bank, who recently resigned from the Committee:

Kevin Roberts, JP Morgan Chase Bank

In his report for the past year, David Gornall commented on how well the LBMA had responded to the various challenges facing the market, particularly those relating to regulation. David also paid tribute to the tireless work of his predecessor as Chairman, Kevin Crisp, and thanked all LBMA Committee Members for their time, effort and expertise in undertaking the huge range of activities in support of the LBMA.
