Could you tell us about your company's role in the precious metals market?
Ashoka Global DMCC has major banks and reputed refineries in its portfolio. The precious metals market is a thriving industry and the company plays an important role in providing products of the highest standards to its customers. We have raised the bar, especially for the quality and service of our products. For pricing, we remain competitive and will continue to lead the market.
Please tell us the background and history of the company.
Mr. Monal Thakkar, pictured left, is the founder and Managing Director of Ashoka Global DMCC. He moved to Dubai, United Arab Emirates in 2015 with a vision to build a global precious metal company. Today, Ashoka Global is a leading importer and exporter of a range of bullion products. He has taken Ashoka Global from a small business handling a few 10 Tolas to a global company, with business in South-East Asia, Europe, and the USA.
What factors do you expect to impact your business in the short to long term?
“With great power comes great responsibility.” Precious metals are a multibillion-dollar industry and are required to comply with international standards and regulations. Several factors such as international sanctions, amendments in local and international laws, and taxation may impact the business in the coming future. While these factors are inevitable, they will only contribute to achieving the company’s vision to provide its customers with products of the highest standards.
What are your plans for the business in the coming years?
Ashoka Global DMCC aims to extend its global reach in the future. As always, we focus on the vision of the company rather than figures. We will expand our reach to unexplored regions and strengthen the roots in the regions in which we have already a presence.
