Cancelled: LBMA/LPPM/IPMI Dinner | Seminar Now Virtual

We are extremely disappointed to announce the cancellation of the LBMA/LPPM/IPMI Dinner, due to take place on Wednesday, 1 December 2021. This decision has been made due to tightening COVID-19 restrictions in the UK and around the world following the discovery of the new ‘Omicron’ variant, particularly impacting travel, testing, and quarantine requirements.

This decision has not been taken lightly and is a judgement we feel is in the best interests of all attendees given the current circumstances. We are working closely with our events agency to mitigate wastage and donate what we can to local charities.

Seminar: Open to All

The LBMA/LPPM/IPMI Seminar, scheduled to take place prior to the dinner, will now be held as a virtual event. We have re-opened registration, so if you would like to attend please register here.

The Seminar will feature the following insightful presentations:

  • James Steel (Chief Precious Metals Analyst, HSBC): ‘Gold: Historical Friends and Foes’
  • Paul Fisher (Chairman, LBMA): ‘A Sustainability Strategy for the Precious Metals Industry’
  • Philip Newman (Managing Director, Metals Focus): ‘Emerging from the Pandemic, Silver 2022 Trends’
  • Matthew Turner (Market Intelligence Manager, PGMs, Anglo American): ‘PGMs & Hydrogen – Getting Real’
