Keynotes
This year, we are honoured to present keynote addresses from two of the most influential minds in the industry: Richard Koo, Chief Economist at Nomura Research Institute and creator of the balance sheet recession theory, and Hiroshi Nakaso, Chairman of Daiwa Institute of Research (DIR) and former Deputy Governor of the Bank of Japan.

Day One
Day One of the Conference features Precious Metals: A Refuge in Uncertain Times, a session moderated by John Reade (Senior Market Strategist, World Gold Council), with insights from Saad Rahim (Chief Economist, Trafigura) and Amir Ravan (Senior Portfolio Manager, Commodities, Jain Global LLC).
Jonathan Butler
The afternoon sessions include Responsible Sourcing and Sustainability, followed by PGMs in the Spotlight: Market Demand Meets Recycling Innovation, moderated by Jonathan Butler (Mitsubishi Corporation International (Europe) Plc), and featuring Dr Katsuhiko Hirose (HyWealth Co) and Taketomo Washida (Tokuriki Honten). The day concludes with Champagne Roundtables (sponsored by Women in PGMs), offering a platform for meaningful discussions and networking.
Day Two
Day Two sees equally insightful sessions, including Outlook for Asian Gold Demand, moderated by Nikos Kavalis (Metals Focus Ltd), with Roland Wang (World Gold Council) and Bruce Ikemizu (JBMA).
Later, delve into the Silver Market: Opportunities and Challenges session, moderated by Rhona O’Connell (StoneX), featuring Bart Melek (TD Securities), Nobuyasu Tsutsumi (Shoei Chemical Inc), and Jan Baczkiewicz (KGHM).
The day continues with Stability, Returns and Liquidity – Why Gold Still Matters for Central Banks, moderated by Peter Zoellner (ex Bank for International Settlements), with insights and more speakers to be announced!
