LBMA Launches Consultation on Good Delivery Rules

Survey Deadline: Friday, 30 September 2022

The LBMA Good Delivery Rules are reviewed on an annual basis and every three years an enhanced review takes place to ensure that they remain relevant and fit for purpose. This is your opportunity to participate in the review and help inform how we update the Rules by taking part in our Good Delivery Rules Survey, which should take around 15 minutes to complete.

As part of this year’s three-yearly enhanced review, LBMA is focusing on three key areas based on the ongoing review of the Rules and feedback from Good Delivery Refiners.

In summary, the three key areas are:

  1. Good Delivery Application Non-Technical Criteria
  2. Listing of By-Product Below Current Throughput Threshold
  3. ESG/Provenance Bars

The purpose for reviewing these three key areas is to ensure the criteria for applications from prospective reputable refiners are still relevant, to enable existing refiners to receive recognition for their unlisted metal and extend their product line to meet client needs — while maintaining the high standards and integrity of the Good Delivery List and the market.

We appreciate your feedback and suggestions. If you have any questions about the survey or the consultation, please email Varsha.Peiris@lbma.org.uk.
