The volume of gold transferred in June increased by 9.2% month on month (m/m) to 19.9 mn, with the corresponding value transferred up 8.3% m/m to $36.5 bn. There were 5,327 transfers, 4% higher m/m, with the clearers settling on average 3,740 ounces per transfer, 5% higher m/m.
Daily Averages Silver Clearing Data - June 2022
For Silver, the volume of ounces transferred decreased by 0.7% m/m to 242.3 mn ounces, with the corresponding value transferred down 2.6% m/m to $5.21 bn. The number of transfers increased by 0.5% m/m to 1,807, with the clearers settling on average 134,076 ounces per transfer, 1.2% lower m/m.
The average gold / silver price ratio in June was 85.3 up from 84.4 in May.
