In this regular feature, LBMA publishes responses to frequently asked questions received from Members and other stakeholders. This is one of the many ways in which we are striving to be transparent in our goal to advance standards and develop market solutions.

Here are the responses to queries we have had this month:  

1) What is LBMA’s response to the FICC Markets Standards Board’s publication of its Precious Metals Market Post-Trade Spotlight Review?

LBMA has conducted an initial review and will discuss the contents and potential impacts at the next Regulatory Affairs Committee meeting. Any relevant updates will be shared in due course.

2) What kind of training does LBMA offer?

LBMA offers various training courses, appropriate for vault operators, Members and market participants, investors and institutions. You can find out more on LBMA’s training and education page.

3) How can I connect with LBMA Executive members?

We regularly run ‘outreach’ events so LBMA Executive members can strengthen relationships with existing members and stakeholders, and broaden relationships with the wider industry. Upcoming opportunities to connect with the LBMA Executive include an in-person Networking Reception, held at the LBMA Office on Thursday, 7 July at 16:30 BST, following the Annual General Meeting taking place earlier that day.
