The Sustainability and Responsible Sourcing Report 2022 has been published, which highlights the key work that LBMA has been doing since the second report was published in November 2021.
You’ll notice a name change for this year’s report – the inclusion of ‘Sustainability’ – which highlights how critical the inclusion of climate is to responsibly sourcing precious metals.
Ruth Crowell, LBMA Chief Executive, said: “By working together, we can create real demand for sustainable and responsible precious metals, as well as make a positive change for the most vulnerable in our sector, artisanal miners. I encourage all of you to join us in these endeavours to ensure the sustainability and longevity of our industry and its participants.”
