The first webinar features Dr Mark Pieth and Sakhila Mirza (General Counsel, LBMA). Dr Pieth is a prominent anti-corruption expert who has held notable roles on the international stage including membership in the Financial Action Task Force on Money Laundering, Chair of a UN Intergovernmental Expert Group on illicit drug trafficking, and 24 years as Chair of the OECD Working Group on Bribery.
The second webinar features Sakhila who is joined by Sasha Lezhnev is Deputy Director of Policy at the Sentry, where he focuses on conflict, governance, and corruption issues in central Africa. The Sentry is an investigative and policy team that follows the dirty money connected to African war criminals and transnational war profiteers and seeks to shut those benefiting from violence out of the international financial system.
