As part of this year's Conference, we are pleased to offer two optional tours of Kyoto. These specially curated experiences will allow you to explore the city's rich heritage, culture, and stunning landmarks. Monday, 27 October

Fees: 18,500 JPY

This guided experience offers a flavour of Kyoto’s most iconic sights - ideal for those looking to start their day with a touch of discovery. These iconic sights include the magnificent Kinkaku-ji (Golden Pavilion) and the striking Fushimi Inari Shrine, renowned for its thousands of vermillion torii gates.

Wednesday, 29 October

Time: 08:45-17:00
Fee: 25,000 JPY

Thinking of extending your stay? This full-day tour offers a deeper exploration of Kyoto’s cultural treasures. Highlights include visits to the peaceful Ryoan-ji Temple, home to Japan’s most famous Zen rock garden; the historic Tenryu-ji Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site; and a guided walking tour through Arashiyama Bamboo Forest. The day also features a hands-on Yuzen Dyeing Experience, where you’ll discover the artistry behind Kyoto’s traditional textiles.
