What is LBMA?
LBMA is an independent authority for precious metals whose role is to advance standards in refining and promote good trading practices for banks and traders operating in the global precious metals industry.
Our mission is to promote the highest levels of leadership, integrity, and transparency for the global precious metals industry by advancing standards and developing market solutions. LBMA standards cover the purity, form, and provenance of the metal, as well as business conduct.

Data and Prices
LBMA publishes a suite of market data sets to improve transparency in the global OTC precious metals market, helping participants understand prices, flows, and physical holdings that have historically been difficult to see.
