In today’s webinar, Ruth Crowell (Chief Executive, LBMA) provided the latest update on LBMA’s three-year strategic plan, as well as supplying a high-level overview on the Gold Bar Integrity pilot.
Ruth said that having a digital global ecosystem is “about how technology can add transparency and value to the gold bars themselves.”
Ruth also provided details on the 34th Annual General Meeting scheduled to take place on Thursday, 7 July 2022 listing LBMA’s Full Member election, proposed name change, economic sanctions, and proposed increase in Non-Executive Directors as some of the topics for discussion.
Isabelle Strauss-Kahn (Non-Executive Director, LBMA Board) joined the webinar to discuss her journey with LBMA since she joined two years ago. Isabelle, who lives in France, noted the challenges of joining the association during COVID-19.
