Session 3 of our upcoming Sustainability & Responsible Sourcing Summit will explore adapting to the evolving sustainability landscape and will be made up of two parts. We are delighted to be able to inform you about Session 3B: Beyond Responsible Sourcing - Externalities and Expectations of Social and Environmental Progress.
Moderated by John Mulligan (Director of Market Relations & Climate Change Lead, World Gold Council), this session will look at the rapidly developing Sustainability agenda beyond core supply chain ‘Due Diligence’. This includes the integration of climate disclosures in mainstream financial reporting, the amplification of expectations around D&I, the rapid prioritisation of Nature and Biodiversity in business decisions (e.g. the launch of TNFD), and whether the precious metals sector is adequately aware and responsive to these trends.
Contributing to this session is a panel of expert speakers: Jill Cooper (Director of Responsible Investing, Orion Resource Partners), Belinda Ellington (Ellington Resolution Ltd Consultant Solicitor, Mercatis Law), and Alice Vanni (CRS Director & Sustainability Advocate, Italpreziosi).
