Join Our Summit Workshop

For the Sustainability & Responsible Sourcing Summit, we are hosting a TNFD workshop at 09:00 GMT on Thursday, 21 March, which all Summit attendees are invited to attend.

TNFD - Act or Ignore for Now?

'Nature is no longer a corporate social responsibility issue, but a core and strategic risk management issue alongside climate change.'

The first step in following the recommendations of the TNFD (Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures) is to locate your interfaces with nature across geographies, sectors and value chains. This workshop is designed to deconstruct implementation of the TNFD recommendations, particularly on how to assess this first step to determine if you need to act or ignore for now.

If you wish to attend, please let us know by completing our registration form or emailing us at events@lbma.org.uk. In advance of the workshop, we would also welcome your responses to the following question, with answers being discussed in person:

Do you consider creating a TNFD assessment and report as relevant to your company?

The workshop will be run by Belinda Ellington (Mercatis Law), a senior legal professional with more than 25 years’ experience in law, regulation, and negotiation relating to finance across Global Commodities’ Markets and ESG.
