Moderated by Alan Martin (Head of Responsible Sourcing, LBMA), this session will explore the improvement of ESG standards in the ASM sector, including through government leadership and formalisation efforts in select countries. The discussion will also cover efforts by LBMA to increase direct sourcing of ASM material, including through the development of a sourcing framework/toolkit, the use of accredited gold aggregators, and cross-recognition between industry standards.
