We are delighted to launch the programme for the upcoming LBMA/LPPM Global Precious Metals Conference, which will take place from Sunday, 15 – Tuesday, 17 October 2023 in Barcelona, Spain at the beautiful W Barcelona.

David McWilliams (Economist) and James Kynge (Global China Editor, Financial Times) will open the Conference on Monday, 16 October with their respective Keynote addresses.

These will be followed by an Investment Exposure panel session, moderated by John Reade (Chief Market Strategist, World Gold Council) with David Seif (Chief of Global Economics, Brevan Howard), Frederik Von Ameln (Portfolio Manager, Publica), and Saad Rahim (Chief Economist, Trafigura) on the panel.

Our session on Mega PGM Demand Trends Through Different Lenses, will be moderated by Nicky Shiels (Head of Metals Strategy, MKS PAMP SA) and joined by Dr Bernhard Fuchs (Senior VP Metals, Umicore), Emma Townsend (Executive Corporate Affairs, Implats), and Margery Ryan (Industrial PGM Research & Strategy Manager, Johnson Matthey).

The programme will also include a session on Consumer Demand During High Prices on Tuesday, 17 October, with a panel featuring Brian Hayward (Head of International Sales, Loomis); Henrik Marx (Global Head of Trading - EVP, Heraeus), Bhargava Vaidya (Proprietor, BN Vaidya & Associates), Wolfgang Wrzesniok-Rossbach (Founder and CEO, Fragold GmbH), and Mark Yang (Alternate Country CEO and Head of Global Markets, UOB China)

Other sessions include: Responsible Sourcing, ESG and Traceability; and Future of the Gold Market; as well as a return of our Champagne Roundtable discussions.
